I acknowledge with respect the Nsyilxcən (N̓syil̓xčn̓) (N̓səl̓xčin̓)-speaking peoples on whose traditional territory I live, work and play, and the Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux), Syilx (Okanagan), and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation peoples whose historical relationships with the land continue to this day.

I wish to pay respect to their Elders - past, present and emerging - and acknowledge the important role First Nations peoples continue to play within this community.
