Hi. My name is Sarah Gibson and I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and the founder of Zalpha Counselling. I provide in person support within the South Okanagan (including Summerland, Penticton, Peachland and West Kelowna) and virtual support to clients in the rest of BC.
Taking the first step to reach out for support can be difficult. Congratulations on making it this far!
I’m a firm believer that every person can benefit from counselling, and even talking about life’s daily stressors can bring you or your child immense benefit. When experiencing challenges, it becomes even more important to be able to have a safe space to explore this, whether you’re 5 or 95.

Child and Youth Counselling
Young people have a lot to navigate in their lives, and sometimes they may need extra support with managing big emotions, anxiety or mood concerns, support through a separation and more. Play, art and games are incorporated into sessions.

Many parents second guess themselves. I support for you so that you can actively support your child(ren) in a more effective way through learning new strategies, understanding your child’s brain, increasing connection, and reducing conflict.

Relationships are hard can cause a lot of distress when there’s conflict. I can support you and your partner to increase communication and intimacy, improve sex, explore new aspects of your relationship, and help support one another in parenting.
